After a hard process and hundreds of kids trying out to make it in the final team, Alberto Diaz, Alejandro Guido, Hector Rivera and Oscar Ortega are now officially ODP players. Aztecs Futbol Club is very proud to have this kids playing in our club and wish you all good luck!

Three teams from Aztecs Futbol Club will be traveling one week to the very competitive Copa Chivas tournament from July 14 to July 21. Aztecs FC Premier 94's coach Hector Diaz, Aztecs FC 95's coach Martin Castillo and Aztecs FC 93's coach Alejandro Ochoa. Good luck and have a safe trip!

Aztecs FC (Torres) B-U12 got first place on Albion Cup by beating the host team 2-1 over Albion in the final game.

Aztecs FC Premiere BU-14 Coach Hector Diaz and Aztecs FC (Garcia) will be participating
in one of the most prestigious tournaments in the country, July 28th, 29th and 30th. Come and watch the games at the Polo fields in Del Mar.

AT PRESENT will be attending the 9th Annual Crown City Classic Soccer Tournament organized by the Coronado Youth Soccer League as an exhibitor.

As you may know, AT PRESENT is the sponsor of the South San Diego Aztecs Youth Soccer website. They will be taking pictures and video shots of the Aztecs League teams to publish on this website.

So please visit their stand. There will be a free raffle of some nice devices for your computer.

They also will be giving away important printed information regarding the Internet and Children Safety for the parents, as well as coupons for discount computer services.

Alejandro Guido, 13 years old, and Alberto Diaz, 12 years old, will depart tomorrow to Boston for the Olympic Development Program (ODP).

As you may know, the philosophy of the ODP is to identify players of the highest caliber on a continuing and consistent basis, which will lead to increased success for the U.S. National Teams in the international arena.

Alejandro Guido and Alberto Diaz will stay in Boston one week for the training. Both of them expressed they were feeling good for this event.

We hope this can become a great experience for them. We are so proud of you, Alejandro and Alberto! Do your best!!!

Five ODP players from Aztecs Futbol Club were selected for the 95's tryouts. Adrian Ramos, Jose Buenrostro, Joshua Damian, Luis Martinez, Ricardo Diaz.

Aztecs FC is proud to be the only club in San Diego to place 6 teams above quarterfinals.

It has now become the most competitive soccer club in the area and the only one that can compete head to head against LA Coast League Premier clubs.
